Really enjoyed this, but OH really didn't.

I tried not to read too much about it, but feared it might be a run of the mill slasher movie. The quality of some of the cast convinced me and I'm so glad they did.

Really funny, a few jumps and without giving anything away not your average horror movie. o/

Oh, that was me too! :red:

I really don't do horror's at all normally but because this film was so highly rated I had to see it and I'm glad I did. It was very clever, so many twists it kept your attention, never quite sure they way things would turn out right until the end.

I sat with my friend and her mum, her mum jumped out of her chair in anticipation of anything happening, another friend of mine left half way through she found it too gory, I just hid behind my scarf we must have looked rather silly, me with my scarf, friend with her hood over her eyes and her mum with her hands over her face, whispering to me 'has it gone, has it gone yet?'. :giggle: But there was enough humour to balance out the goriness and you invest in the characters and are routing for them so need to keep watching to discover their fate.

8/10

Great fun this,
especially the Gremlins-esque chaos at the end where all of horror's greatest hits get rolled out. But I think the whole ritual sacrifice / Sigourney Weaver / end of the world nonsense sort of over-egged it for me. Before then, the sadistic reality TV concept was enough to keep me interested.
