Just looks to ugly in the character design for me, trailer was uninteresting, the only animated film this year for me is Disney's Frozen, the Snow Queen fable that is due Dec 6. Not caring on Monsters University.

Did you actually see it? I thought the characters suited the 'cave man' era they were supposed to be from and the personalities they were given.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Really enjoyed this film (probably even more so than my 4 year old nephew!)

I thought that the 3D was the best I've seen in ages, the story was great and the characters thoroughly entertaining. Kept your attention throughout and was very easy to watch.
Colour, animation and voices were all fab.
One that I'd definitely recommend.

I saw the Croods in Cardiff last Sunday morning. There were seats available so probably people forgot to cancel which is a shame if people missed out? It was quite funny, the characters were cute. I enjoyed the 3D effects but think there should be more parts for kids where things come out of the screen towards you so to speak.
