I was surprised to see such an empty screening room in Islington Vue.
I'm going to agree with tilly and prettyxcool. Both my boyfriend and I thought it was really funny. So I'm also giving it a 8/10.
It was nice bumping into prettyxcool at the end of the movie.

Swa this at Edinburgh tonight and sat next to marjoreemarjora so was good to catch up.
Cinema was 35% full approx. If Sky want to restrict who gets tickets then it's working but if they want people to go to their screenings....??
I enjoyed this way more than Death at a Funeral last night.
Yes some of the jokes were purile but I guess the target audience is 16-30? It was a nice story and it was clearly not an expensively made film, but the charachters were padded out nicely and it did try to stick to the story; at least mostly when it wasn't trying to be American Pie.
Alice Eve, who played Molly is British as was spotted earlier - you may remember her as the posh totty in Starter for 10 with James McEvoy from a couple of years ago?
Harmless fun.
7/10 from me.

Both my gf and I were pretty bored by this. And lord did it feel like a long movie. A lot of pointlessness could have been cut out, like the hockey scene in the basement. Anyway, I'm all for foul language when it adds something but here it just seemed like cursing for the sake of cursing 95% of the time. I don't think Jay Baruchel's awkward delievery works in a lead role. I think he's fine as a supporting actor, but that's it.
But really this just was not funny. It struck that a lot of the ideas could have been funny on paper but the execution was just incredibly poor. I went into this hoping for something to cheer me up and wanting to like it, but there's no way I could recommend this. 4/10 for me.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

ejwrank wrote:Well I expected very little from this film and that's pretty much what I got. By the way Alice Eve ( who played Molly) had her real parents play her parents. They are Trevor Eve (Waking the Dead) and Sharon Maughan (Holby City and long ago she was in those silly Nescafe ads).
Thanks for clearing that up ejwrank. I recognised Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan, and wondered if Molly was related when I saw her name was Alice Eve.
Also watch out for her as Charlotte's nanny in SATC2.

I thought it was total crap and I really regretted going. Feeling so tired and unable to cancel my tickets or offer them, with a sense of guilt I drank lots of coke to give me that caffeine boost. Ended up getting to the cinema by 6:25pm to a fairly packed Vue Greenwich (approximately 80% I'd say).
The story line was bland, predictable and a real bore (as Beate correctly points out). Humourless to say the least with silly teenage jokes that I do not find amusing.
It didn't help that a lady sat behind me and kept pitching her really funny laughter which went in a rhythm every three minutes at things that nobody were even laughing at! It was as though she thought every line was comical!
Boy was I disappointed to say the least. I sat between two couples and the row I was on was pretty packed and I kept looking to exit but the thought of disturbing people made me stay back in my seat and endure this crap.
Two bad movies in two days. I sure hope Wicked is better tonight! I can't hack another bad evening out.
A solid 3/10 (I am being extremely kind here) and I certainly would not recommend this to anyone... not even my enemy!
