Not as easy as at Vue Islington to see and speak to FMUKers - seats too packed together. milkchocmonkey and hdaniel82 were sat in the back row and I sat in front of milkchocmonkey. When a_person turned up she sat next to my friends. I saw ucakpam and tried to wave to her as there was an empty seat in our row, but she had already walked to down to the front. And I think I waved to you tilly, were you two rows in front of my row but at the other end (it was dark!).
Security was tight, they kept checking seats and wanted to see you turn off your mobiles before letting you in. No bag search.
I enjoyed this film - maybe because I am biased! Love all dance films. I know it was predictable, and as my OH says "there is no story, it is just dancing!" - duh, it is a dance film. Reminds me how much I also miss those Hollywood classics with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
I thought the dance sequences were great, the film was fun and heartwarming and made me happy and want to dance. My friend and I felt like going clubbing afterwards!
9/10
I was in the back row too but I don't know anyone apart from Beate and A_person. thought I saw her and was goinng to text but that wouldn't have been a good idea

Mind you someones phone went off for ages during the film whilst they hunted for it in their bags
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I didn't rate this film much. I thought the dancing was ok, but I prefered the other dance crews not the Pirates. The 3D effects freaked me out, they were so strange, made the dancers look like freaky puppets. The leader of The Pirates was far too old to be hanging with street kids and couldn't dance to save his life. Was he chosen cos he has a small resemblance to Channing Tatum? Those twins made Jedward look normal
Shame really as I do enjoy dance movies and dance comps. I tought Street Dance was so much better with better dance sequences. I'm not too big a fan of Breaking, Body Popping and all the old dance moves like The Robot. I much prefer Dance Crews like Flawless and the more synchronised type of dance. However I loved the Tango and the first dance off with the dust flying around I thought that crew were the best.
5/10 and thats mostly for the shorties dancing

Were you left or right of the screen? a_person was one seat from the end on the left. I was two seats from her towards the middle of the row with milkchocmonkey behind me.
Hope to say hi next time then. I have my badge on so do look out for me!

I was to the left in the middle. I managed to be the first in the queue so I decided to sit in the back row. I don't usually though. Will look out for you next time. I'm going to Black Dynamite as someone has invited me vx

We thought this movie wasn't too bad.
It was obvious I thought the story it was going to follow even before it started and without seeing any trailers or synopsis, so we went simply for the enjoyment of the film and the dancing....which was good!
For this reason I think the film was 7/10....obvious, predictable, but still enjoyable :)
