Yes please, number doesn't matter but I'd like to give it another go - maybe set a personal target?Beate wrote:I have actually as you said you weren't coming back but you can have another number if that's ok?

Yikes, only discovered this one day before entries close! I'd love to be number 51 if it's still open Beate
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Well just a few hours left before I eradicate my miserable 10/100 free fims in 2010 from my signature! I have seen many more in the cinema but I pa*d for them
New page and hopefully a better performance for 2011 :)
My film reviews here . ......My FMUK 2014 ratings.......My FMUK 2011 ratings.......My FMUK 2013 ratings . ......My FMUK 2012 ratings .

Possibly more than fashionably late, but if there's still space I'd like to be in.

Re: The 100 Free Films in 2011 Club
Good question that. I would have said no on account that it's not on a big screen and that you p*y for your flight so it's just some in-flight entertainment that's part of your p*rchase.superhero wrote:Free films on flights count too?
But I have just renewed my Greenwich Picturehouse membership on account that you get it for the old price if you renew by tonight, and now I am in a moral dilemma myself - do the member's free previews and free tickets you get as part of the membership still count as I have pa*d for the membership myself?
Re: The 100 Free Films in 2011 Club
Yes I would say that free tickets as part of a membership should count -- seems like they are a freebie in spite of p*ying for the membership.
Beate, could I join the 2011 Club please? I have no idea if I will be clever enough to add such things on to a signature but I shall try (or get one of my children to show me how). I managed 55 free films in 2010 and the total for our family of four was 131 free film tickets so in that respect we hit 100 at least! And of course it's all down to the generosity of FMUK so a very big thank you to everyone.

As it's not 2011 yet, this can still be added to (you can see that I have been generous this year and the list has now grown to 67 members).
If anyone has a problem with the membership number they have been given, let me know soon please.
Anyone who has problems adding or changing a signature, please let me know, I am happy to help. Many thanks to the regulars who have updated their signature already.
What counts as a free film?
In a nutshell, any film you don't have to p*y for and see on the big screen.
This includes free previews, premieres you win tickets too, films seen with cinema vouchers (Nectar points and Tesco clubcard vouchers count) or pa*d for by someone else. The films don't have to be new so cultfilm events like Jameson do of course count as well, and if the library down the road shows a free film, that's great too. Free previews that come with a cinema membership count too, as well as the allocation of free tickets a year they might give you. Sky TV shows on the big screen count too, as do Adventure Film Fest screenings and the like.
What does not count as a free film?
Anything downloaded and watched on your TV, computer or other electronic gadget. With regret, in-flight movies, as they are not on the big screen.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
