Thanks for all of that info - I will take it all on board and hope it helps!

I absolutely detest team building exercises as I tend to feel they do more damage than good - invariable a couple of people will argue and put a dampener on it for everyone else. I also think that as we are already a relatively small team (due to recent redundancies) we are already forced to work well together and therefore the whole thing seems pointless. As several of our staff still have concerns about the security of their jobs, I feel some way of reassuring them would have been more appropriate. I had to inform everyone of the "team building" afternoon but not the task yesterday and general feeling is not positive and, in fact, I had one tell me that he will probably not be around that day - so already the team building is failing!

Yeah I am going to the MJ exhibition on the 22nd Jan. The exhibition tonight is at the Saatchi gallery
