Oh, I wish I would have known, hubby and I both love that film, we have the DVD but we would have loved to watch it in the big screen. I wonder if they will show it again?canadian_turtle wrote:I went to the Hoxton Rooftop cinema with a friend and saw Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It's one of my all-time favourite movies but I'd never seen it on a bigger screen than my television so this was a real treat. My friend hadn't seen it before but really enjoyed it too which I was very happy about

Not this year I'm afraid, here's the schedule (though everything says sold out except for the dates that still need to be announced):

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I watched The Magnificent Seven which I haven't seen in a few years. One of the villains, I think his name was Sotero, looked a hell of a lot like one of the Rolling Stones and I spent ages feverishly searching his name on Google Images but to no avail. Ah well. Good film, though not as good as Seven Samurai.

I've seen the first part but not the second part yet.
I thought it was OK but nothing special and Dorothy is annoying. It's not as good as Alice.

Yeah I wasnt overly impressed. I didnt see the point of Billy Boyd as that Nick Bloke. Unfortunately you're not missing much in the second half. I agree Dorothy is annoying..... that voice.... argh!!! I preferred the Wicked Witch of the West!!funthing29 wrote:I've seen the first part but not the second part yet.

I do remember watching a different kind of Oz related one with Zooey Deschanel called Tin Man. That was better but still not great.
I think I saw Alice being advertised, not sure if its the same. WIll have to Sky+ it as I dont think boyf will sit through another lot of these lol!
