Sorry for the delayed response, big hugs to AnneJ after your fall and to Large Marge with your daughter going away; You've both had traumatic weeks.

Has anyone done a review for disgrace yet? I am interested if it's a good film, otherwise I am off to see an exhibition.

Still in exile ...
where on earth are you?
On an island somewhere in the Indian Ocean!! I'd rather be in cold, rainy London any day!!

a_person: Oh I am coming back though it's not soon enough for me ... after all MariaLionza owes me a few tix ;)

Thanks Diane65, I appreciate your kind thoughts. Still waiting to hear that they've arrived safely (her + new husband). they've been updating us from London, then Singapore - Sydney's next. We're expecting them to arrive in Wellington around 1 am our time. I'm up at 6 for work tomorrow but need to know they've arrived safely.

Too right, large marge. Now, have you got that Skype fixed up? It will make all the difference to you when it is! :D

Daughter (+ son-in-law) arrived safely - we got the call at 1:30 am yesterday.
No Skype as yet, but we have had a discussion via facebook last night! I've not really used it much but last night I got an email saying she had posted a message on my 'wall'. I went straight on and she was still logged in so we were able to 'chat' for a while. I went to bed happy! Image
