Re: Red Riding Hood
Well now you've written the script, how bout making it cos I really wanna see this movie!Sydney_Bristow wrote:Ok So Red Riding hood was a covert operative who was investigating the paranormal in a dodgy neighbourhood in Nowhere, USA...aka Iowa. She discovered a group of extra-terrestrial vulpes chrysosyon (extra furry foxes) who, in the neon-light were easily mistaken for wolves. One of these alien foxes was an undercover agent for the FBI and was posing as Supergran (minus the skateboard), to infiltrate a drug cartel. Anyway, Red Riding Hood (wearing a sexy red oscar de la renta), beats the bad guys - chaps from the dog/fox pound, escapes the clutches of the 'mandatory' evil witch, the drug cartel ends up with egg on their faces (or in this case talcum powder) and our heroine kisses the undercover FB agent and turned him into a handsome prince.
And they lived happily ever after.
Until he got a serious case of ticks.
The End.
*spoiler ALERT*
Psssst...can you tell I haven't watched it yet?

Re: Red Riding Hood
if you like twilight then you'll like this, its almost nearly a twilight prequel about the werewolf half of the story in a fairytale land - so, lots of CGI, a good looking cast who cant really act yet, a couple of acting legends ineffably cast, a dumb script, nice scenery and about the same amount of logic in the story that a MTV music video has.
You cant watch this for historical accuracy or for any kind of sense or logic, its not that kind of film. With the cast wearing lipstick and modern clothes at times (I think I saw a pair of jeans at one point, intentionally I dont know) its clearly a fantasy and a fable for teen twilight fans. That should suffice for them. I'm neither, so 6/10. Sorry. Well maybe 7/10 for the lovely scenery and the twist at the end.

Red Riding Hood
Can't really add more than what as already been said....It was lightweight, however as I had incredibly low expectations, I enjoyed it - in particular the scenery. I think the teens will love it.

Re: Red Riding Hood
yep, first time i saw this was at SlackersClub, after the massively superior Frankenstein and Cave of Forgotten Dreams earlier that same day, made by real proper filmakers Danny Boyle and Werner Herzog, so its no wonder RRH looked crap that time I watched it. its nowhere near these masterpeices, so after watching them, Riding Hood looked like it had been made by an imbecile who worked in the fashion trade.
I saw it again recently and, well, on its own, its actually good enough, its fun, if somewhat bland and a very fanciful.
