This sounds like a great book, you must let me borrow it! Now all it needs, is a little bit of
erotica
added in and it will be perfect! Heck, we should go turn it into a film - cliveas and prettyxcool will be the first to be invited to previews - they'll definitely love it! o/

Well it's taken me a while to catch up on all your chatter. Downton Abbey beckoned when I got home.

Now to Sleeping Beauty -- By the way...what was the film about? Glad to hear that the director also didn't seem to know from those who heard the Q&A with her last week.

We took lots of goody bags but it seems the Telegraph people picked and chose what the wanted so some of the books and hair care stuff was missing but I'm sure we've got enough to go around. My first words to pxc and Cliveas when I managed to get into a seat next to them was "where's my goody bag" as I thought it had already been pilfered. It hadn't been but was sitting on the floor.

There is quite a lot of pretty revolting and threatening stuff in this film so be warned -- at least I thought so but don't worry about me a_person, I'm not nearly as delicate as you think. I just didn't see this film as particularly artistic or interesting or much of anything. It ended very abruptly which was a blessed relief!

Needless to say, I am not happy. I arrived at Islington Vue at about 6:05, where everybody was being directed to wait in the seating area until the screen was ready. Not a problem, I do not mind this. We go in at about 6:20, and shortly afterwards a female employee appears apologising that there was a problem with the projector or some crap like that, so the film may be delayed or may not be shown at all. At about 6:35 some other guy comes in and tells us that the screening has been delayed until 7:00 because of the aforementioned problem. One person asked him, "Will the film be shown at all?" to which the employee replied, "I really can't be certain." And that was really enough for me to just come home. I've been in that situation one too many times during these preview screenings, and more often than not it ends up in a "Sorry, we can't play the film today." So I decided to fall on my sword and get the hell out of there. Maybe they did screen the film. Maybe people are watching and enjoying it as I write this. If they are, good luck to them - I hope they are enjoying it. But I've had too long of a day at work to be messed around by another incompetent multiplex.
