I was at Chelsea Cineworld as well. It was a very interesting movie, which left quite a lot of room for discussion - hence all the spoiler alerts in the thread :)! Thanks for that guys, I share a lot of your views in the movie, really wondering what was the director's idea? A second screening would definitely help! Looking forward to hear more opinions...

As lots of people are offering tix for Thursday, if I am able to go and anyone in London is going again, I would be pleased to be a +1 if anyone has a spare. (I'm not posting this in "Wanted" yet because I'm not sure about going and I'd only need 1 ticket so don't want to waste half a spare pair.)

I don't like horror as a genre but this sounds like something else: supernatural? Suspense? How would those who have seen it categorise it?

Defo not horror, Supernatural thriller, this film generates atmospheric suspense no gore nothing gruesome and certainly an interesting story as you can tell by the spoilers :D >>>>>> AVOID THE SPOILERS IF YOUR PLANNING ON SEEING THIS i think you will enjoy it ;)

Saw this in Ipswich last night at a not very full screening. The film has a good plot and was well shot. It was worth the drive down for us.

Would recommend.

Saw this in Wandsworth last night. An atmosperic gothic ghost story. No gratuitous violence or OTT CGI, but it left the audience gripped and chilled at the same time, especially when we saw the ghost and Florence was unaware of it. Excellent cinematography. Would definitely recommend. Rebecca Hall, Dominic West and Imelda Staunton were all excellent in their respective roles, as was newcomer, Isaac Hemstead Wright. The locations were stunning. A near perfect film. Well done, BBC Films.

Very sad that the cinema was only about 30% full, especially as my daughter had tried to get tickets but was told they were all gone. To those who had tickets but couldn't be bothered to turn up - you missed something really special.

After much consideration, I've written my review: http://wp.me/p1LZHn-9l

I think this falls into Kill List territory for me. Not nearly as good as it desperately wants to be.
To whom did Robert speak when he went into his room and we heard him say ‘She gone downstairs’ (or something of that effect)? It was in the middle of the film when she was still trying to figure out what was going on.
Did anyone else get a "laugh" about the quote from the headteacher and education and women?

If dinosaurs like this were still around (though I do think there are still a few!) we would not have many writers on FMUK !

No idea. One of many confusing aspects to this one. It almost feels as if there was another thread to this that they decided to drop during editing, but didn't cut enough that was related to it.
