Brad Pitt has never been "just a pretty face", Val!

Re: Moneyball
hhehe I know that, but he did have that reputation for a while.
He's a big eater in his films I've realised as well

Re: Moneyball
Take me out to the ball game? Well, sorta. Don't know about anyone else but don'tcha think Moneyball is less about sport and more about the movies? Think about it, you have all those big stars with the super fat fees who cannot open a movie. Step forward, Anna Faris. So what do those Hollywood bean counters do? They field a cheap team of TV regulars in a genre flick. Sometimes it pays off (as in a Scream movie) and sometimes you end up with Monte Carlo. Forget Billy Beane (Pitt), the real hero is the fictional composite Peter Brand (Jonah Hill in Billy Bunter attire). Wasn't so keen in him trying to catch a fly when he was expressing the clinching of a deal. The Amazing Spider Man is cast, Jonah - it is Andrew Garfield. Get over it. As the Green Hornet proved, comedians as superheroes don't work. Where was I? Weren't the firing scenes amazing. Sorry, player 'x', I'm gonna let you go. Er, all right. Unbelievable. Take it from a potato. Spud out.

Re: Moneyball
Just watched this on lovefilm and though I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it I did.
It kept me gripped and it was great to see the flashbacks with the real players.
