Re: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Excruciating.
That's the red carpet footage out of the way. Seriously there is no part of me that ever needs to see Sarah Cawood interviewing Kerry Katona. And as impressive as Free Running is (and it is really impressive), several minutes of people doing the same signature moves over and over again got a bit old.
As for the movie itself, I really enjoyed it. It was complete nonsense of course but perfectly amiable. Admittedly you have to excuse the fact that it desperately wants to be several other blockbuster movies all at once (The Mummy, Gladiator, the Indiana Jones movies and Pirates of the Caribbean spring to mind) and just enjoy it for what it is. Top quality hokum. Jake Gyllenhal made for a likeable lead, and though Gemma Arterton is not, in my opinion, the most beautiful woman who ever lived, she was perfectly fine (The scene where she uncovered her face and everyone gasped got a fair few giggles from the people around me). Alfred Molina was also fun as the comic relief. A pretty good videogame adaptation, which makes a change.

Re: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Yeah, that cost me 20 minutes as the queue went around the block! And when I got there they said regular hotdogs will take 12 minutes so I had to take a large one!jpeg wrote:I think you went to b*y a hotdog at the time BeateBeate wrote:Wow, I never got any! Prettyxcool, I think your friend might have been upstairs as they originally told everyone to go and wait there.
