In comparison to East is East, this film was quite disappointing and boring. The young boy embracing his cultural identity wasn't believeable to me. It felt like he was one day hating his culture, the next day loving it, with very little happening in between.

I was asking myself throughout "when is something going to happen to make this film worth watching".

Was a little disappointed with this. Much preferred the first film but saying that it was enjoyable to watch, just wish it could have been funnier!

I agree with this, not as funny as East is East but still worth watching. I felt it was perhaps trying a bit too hard to be funny, and I also missed the rest of the family!
