Cue the Grecian 2000! Lol. (and anyway he's not immortal just now - that could allow him to age a bit.)

Torchwood is brilliant and I'm loving the new budget they have. Special effects just keep coming. Roll on next week!

Hi guys!
I'm new to the forum, and glad to be here 8-)
I was wondering if anyone has been watching The Killing and what do you think. Worth to catch up on 4OD?

Thanks!

stuartboy wrote:Sorry. Torchwood not doing it for me. Has become a caricature of itself - basically is an entirely different American show (although not bad in itself - but come on - how contrived was that scene in the plane where they managed to concoct the "antidote"!). It is just another US show with the injection of two known UK actors, and even Captain Jack Sparrow although from Glasgow even sounds American himself.

Has definitely lost its way. I mean how many explosions and helicopter chases does one need in a Dr. Who spin off.

Where is weirdy? He'll surely back me up on this! Lol.
I back you up Stuartboy, last weeks episode was dire, and I don't even know if I can bother to watch the rest of it. Barrowman looks so odd nowadays, Gwen is the only one worth watching it for

Welcome edopoli, hope you like your time here, its very friendly. And yes The Killing is worth watching, but, its slow and steady, not a flash in the pan sort of show. I'm really enjoying it and even get off the internet when its on o/

Mildred Pierce, God Kate Winslett needs a slap, give me Joan Crawford anytime.

Before that I watched The Killers, fairly amusing nonsense, you could see what was going to happen miles ahead. And before that The Killing, quality TV at its best
