Have fun with event and if you find out what is the restaurant in advance, you can plan what you order and choose the healthier option...or make it your comfort day of the week, just make sure you eat healthy for the rest of the week ;) You're doing so well because you're always conscious of what you eating now! You've resisted temptations and adding veggies to your meals, you walking more, yeah that's great progress! Make your walks more of a brisk walk as your next step. Lets know the restaurant, and we'll look at the menu on their website to see what options you can go for :)
Its in the National Portrait Gallery. BTW I only have 2 or 3 Wasabi Beans a day, they are so hot, I can't manage loads

Wow, that's an awesomely exotic menu...I'd personally enjoy and make it my one reward day of the week and enjoy the evening BUT you can still make it a healthy meal too. Starters, go for the chicken ceasar salad but make sure they dont spread any ceasar dressing on it, ask for a little on the side, and so you can be in control. Main, wow so many nice dishes but you can make each one a tasty and healthy one by reducing the complex carb potions and the sauces. For instance, go for The Plaice dish, dont bother with the bacon, and ask for it to be light on the lemon + herb butter. I dont know what caper is, though? Venison looks nice too but have smaller portion of mash. Dont go for the curry, thats looks heavy in calories.

And your side order will be Veggies!

IF what you want comes with a sauce, ask for it to be on the side, separate to your meal
and one that i always love, if you want something but it has lets say, cheese on it(i dont like too much cheese!) ask for it without :)
and if they say no, say your allergic, most restaurants should oblige since they cant ignore your special request
:)
Brilliant o/ o/

I woulnd't drink or have coke anyway so its always Apple Juice or Tomato Juice
Dont get carried away with fruit juices, many fall into the trap of drinking too much fruit juice thinking its great for losing weight. No, they're not, they have sugar. They do however, have the various vitamins and minerals that we need, but in juice form much of that is not actually digested properly as opposed to eating the fruits as a whole.

So do have your fruit juice (certainly is a favourable replacement to fizzy drinks/alcohal) but better still, have water or a herbal tea or even just a normal tea. and try to eat a whole fruit in replace of fruit juice at other times (no talking about eating out now, just general!)

Finally went to the gym and did a Combat class. only 45 mins but it was such hard work after not going for so long. The new release, is pretty mad. One track has lots of lunges, eskiva's and side kicks which was pretty hard. Eskiva (sp) is basically a a Brizillian Capoeira move, great fun but very hard on the legs if you are not used to it.

So day off tomorrow then another class on Friday

Wow, go Valda! What other classes will you be doing there, hope you will mix them? Great stuff. Keep this up at least 3-4 times a week, you'll be really fit soon o/ o/ You can take advantage of getting a free gym program too.

Damn, that's a whole lotta combat, I be sure to be on my best behaviour whenever I see you, I wouldnt want to be on the receiving end of your lethal punch and kicks!

Thats perfect spacing between the classes though, the body always needs time to recover from the workouts and hope your sleeping better too because that is essential part of the recovery time.

You're outshining us here and raising the standard! o/

Of course I'm still not sleeping. totally exhausted but still won't sleep. Even worse, my relaxation tapes have stopped having any effect. I just listen to one after another
