Very!

Was making my way home from London yesterday and my OH said he couldn't pick me up from the station because there was too much snow. So I was getting all excited as the train came further out of town. But nothing!

He was just too tired and wanted to go to bed!

I was also hoping for enough snow for a day off, when I went to bed I was convinced there would be enough to grind the Central line to a hault, but no it was fine!! Although I live on a hill and I practically needed skis to get down to the tube station, there was so much ice already, I nearly skidded right over in the middle of the road  I'm accident prone enough without the ice

Having a day off means I can have lunch, and boy do I need it after my walk! I don't recall that walking in snow was such hard work last time -I was exhausted in no time. I didn't even have the strength to pull my wellingtons off when I got home, and when I asked OH to help, he fared no better. Soup here I come!

Back from Brum! Had no trouble weather-wise getting there or coming back but car heater was not working! Had to have hot bath at hotel. The room was nice and very quiet but the bathroom was a bit grotty! Went to Christmas market today and general shopping, then visiting family and distributing presents.

Now settling down to watch Love Actually.

How can I have accumulated 38 emails in two days? And why is Newquay Cornwall Airport wishing me Merry Christmas, I have never flown there? :wall:

I am really struggling today. Cold and tired. Wish I were at home on the sofa under the duvet. Doesn't help that OH is off until the new year now whereas I'm working through. Sigh...

oh dear anakin, maybe have a bit of a celebration in your office? bring a small tree, have a glass of mulled wine and make it nice and cosy in there.

Haha - that would be hilarious given that in my part of the building there is hardly anyone here. In my "office" there are usually 5 of us and now it's just me! How funny would it be if I sat here, alone, christmas hat on etc. That's really made me chuckle!
