Most unusually, given that I normally go away far more than OH, I don't yet have a single holiday actually booked for this year, whereas OH is going away this month!

However, I am concentrating on catching up: have lots of plans to visit places on my wish-list this year and am just confirming the accommodation for our June holiday. For the remainder we'll be doing our own thing, as usual - and besides, after January and June, OH will probably have run out of leave, money and energy.

Where are you off to in June? It's wonderful to have lots of places on your wish list - I keep on getting inspired from people on here, books I read and watching films as to places to go.

Germany: OH and I both have destination wish-lists and are gradually working our way through them, but some places require a lot of planning, with overnight stops - and for our joint holidays, I'm only talking Europe, and France and Germany at that! (We tend to alternate between the two, though it's not deliberate, and we had a "French" year last year, "German" the year before, and so on.)

Then I have lots of UK destinations on my weekend break/holiday list, almost certainly for visiting with my sister, and a long-haul list: Australia, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand... but I feel bad about flying, and the prospect of sitting still for so long is not attractive, either, so no rush for those.

Heading off to Benidorm at the end of the month which seems to be a good idea as the weather forecast says it is to be minus 15 here shortly. Not been away at this time of year so hope it does not end up colder there than here!!
