Dine for free in The City
Although City lunches are notoriously expensive, eat for free at Tokyo City and you can take advantage of a seriously unique lunch deal. Forget vouchers, set menus or anything like that, Tokyo City has cut it down to the basics – free food for everyone – providing you can get a table, that is. And whilst the mood in The City has definitely been sombre recently, there’s no better way to cheer up than to indulge in loads of free sushi.

What’s on offer
In order to get the word out about their new August menu and celebrate nearly ten years of business, the restaurant is inviting their customers to dine out every Tuesday during August for no cost at all. Eat for free at Tokyo City and feast on everything from handmade sushi and sashimi to bento boxes filled with Japanese classics, plus other traditional Japanese dishes.

Free sushi
If you’re a fan of sushi and other Japanese specialities, make sure you book a table to eat for free at Tokyo City and try out what they have to offer. Perfect for both sushi experts and newcomers, with Tokyo City’s free meal deal you can indulge in your favourites or experiment and try something that you haven’t tried before.

Tokyo City
Established in 2000 and located near Bank tube station, Tokyo City has been feeding City workers hungry for a sushi fix for near on 10 years. Eat for free at Tokyo City and help them celebrate their – almost – 10th birthday and the launch of their new August menu.

The Tokyo City free food offer is available all day every Tuesday throughout the month of August 2009. Customers will be charged a service charge of £2.50 and the cost of drinks. Advance bookings are recommended, and please quote Tokyo City offer when you book.

Zizzi have offers on all the time - not just with SFF

Until the 30th August you can get two main meals for £10

They also do a happy hour 2-6pm

I went with my hubby last night before "Julie & Julia" at boldon, we got a 4 sllice pizza each, 2 slices of garlic Bread & a drink for £7.50 in total. Quite a good deal I thought!
