Thor

#1 Post by TheyCallMeMrGlass » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:46 am

A trailer has just come out for Thor. Part of the Marvel Avengers universe connections, which includes the recent Iron Man and Hulk movies. This looks to be a pretty promising entry from a good director in Kenneth Branagh. I hope he has learnt his lessons of dealing with big productions though, since his Frankenstein adaption. Anyway, here's the trailer. And be careful with this player they are using, its easy to end up clicking pop up ads. Wait for the play button to appear.

I know Anthony Hopkins wont be in the film that much but I always feel at ease with his immense presence on screen.

I know, it looks pretty good. The odd bit of shoody graphic (which i'm sure they'll sort out by release day) and not overly sure on hemsworth as thor but gotta love this whole marvel world tie in, what with shield and the tony stark reference near the end of the trailer.

Well, the video kept buffering forever, so I'll try it another time, but the screen shots look pretty good... Long time to wait though... May 2011.

Hi All

Just watched the Thor Comic Con trailer here:

http://www.trailerspy.com/trailer/10818 ... on-Trailer

Didn't have any problems with pop ups or buffering (although I would give it a few seconds to load before starting it).

I'm also liking the tie that they are going to do with the various Marvel movies and can't wait for The Avengers comes out.

Iron Man was brilliant, although The Incredible Hulk was pretty average. The trailer for Thor looks promising though ...

But Chris Evans as Captain America !?!

Hope you enjoy the trailer

I don't think the film will be that good, judging by that footage, but I certainly like the tie in with the Avengers storyline. Nevertheless I shall probably see it when it comes to cinema's so im properly prepared for the Avengers.
