Why is there an umlaut on the O from b*ght?

Sounds like a movie I'd enjoy though :)

It's based on Benjamin Mee's lovely memoir, also called We b*ght a Zoo. It'll be interesting to see how well the change of location from Southern England to Southern California works in the film.

Ha ha, because it annoyed me that I couldn't write the title in full!

It looks like it might be worth a watch. Hopefully there will be some free screenings in my area.

I didn't realise it's based on a true story in the UK. Shame they have to change the location!

Here I was thinking it was the actual title and it was a play on words somehow *facepalms*

From NatWest Film First and RBS Film First:

Unfortunately 'We b*ght A Zoo' will no longer be our preview film for December. Instead we will be previewing the brand new 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked'. We are still offering 4 tickets per customer and the date of the screening is 4th December. Free tickets will be available from 17th November. We apologise for any inconvenience.

(Due to a delay with film production, apparently.)

The excuse about having no previews of this due to a delay in the film production is clearly complete nonsense. In the US the studio are apparently so happy with the film that they are having previews at 800 cinemas on the 26th November. One whole month ahead of it's US release. We in the UK still have to wait until the end of March to see it however. Which is a bit unfair.
