Is it bad I am most excited about the Tangled short before it? (I <3 Flynn) Though seeing Beauty and the Beast on the big screen isn't a bad thing either of course ;)

You want tickets for most things bar the odd horror films.

Can't make the free preview on 28th so think I'll use one of my vouchers when the films released :)

Thanks to sf I caught Beauty and the Beast 3D this morning; I had never seen the flat (!) version as I was already little too old when it was released, so it's difficult to tell if the 3D conversion was good or not.
My feeling is that it did not really work; the animation lacks in fluidity (like if some frames were missing) and the image is rather dark at times; but again it may already have been like this in a first place (?)

As for the story, I was unimpressed, but again I think I am just a little too old for this.
I definitely think the target audience is pre-teen; and then it makes me wonder why they re-released it in 3D for such a small market... the little girl next to me was actually even refusing to wear her 3D glasses

6.5/10

BUT the Tangled short beforehand was absolutely hilarious!

my 2 girls hate wearing the glasses we are seeing this nxt wk-end plus side is Beauty and the Beast is never off in this house so i'm hoping they can at least enjoy the film, i dont remember the film being dark but we seem to get that a lot with the 3D it really bugs me POTC was much better in 2D as was HP x
