Win 2 tickets to Little Shop of Horrors and a 2 course meal!

To mark the start of a new season at Birmingham Hippodrome after the summer hit We Will Rock You, Birmingham Hippodrome would like to offer
2 tickets for the first performance of Little Shop of Horrors on Tuesday 15 September with a 2 course meal at Stageside Bar and Restaurant, to include a bottle of wine for the table.

Down-and-out Skid Row floral assistant Seymour becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore offering him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite… but as Audrey II’s hungry demands increase, all that Seymour holds dear is threatened as the plant’s sinister agenda for global domination is revealed….

One of the longest-running off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the song writing team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.

The cast includes Clare Buckfield (Audrey), Alex Ferns (Dentist), Damian Humbley (Seymour) and Clive Rowe (Audrey II).

Win a Pair of Tickets to the Dance Premiere of Scattered!

Dance company Motionhouse launch a national tour of their latest piece with a premiere at Warwick Arts Centre in October. Combining the company's trademark highly physical dance theatre and mesmerizing aerial imagery, Scattered creates a unique interaction between film and live performance.

Scattered is Motionhouse’s 18th production, and it explores our relationship with water and how it surrounds us in different forms throughout our lives. Scattered delves into the majesty and savagery of water, as seven dancers plunge into an ocean, wrestle a raging tide and slide on an avalanche to a frozen landscape of arctic beauty.

Performed on a huge curved floor which disappears skywards, Scattered uses projection technology, daring dancing plus aerial harnesses and bungees to create an extraordinary world in which the dancers move seamlessly in, on and through the image.

Directed by Kevin Finnan, the piece will be performed on and within an extraordinary set designed by long term collaborator Simon Dormon, with an original music score by Sophy Smith and lighting design by Natasha Chivers.

Sacttered will tour nationally from October 2009.

Don't miss the premiere at Warwick Arts Centre on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October. To book tickets, call the Box Office on 024 7652 4524 or book online.

For further tour dates and links to all venues go to Motionhouse website.

Answer to the question is water.
