Great special effects, pity the characters were so wooden and dislikable.
6/10

Thought that this was pretty entertaining, sure the characters were a little bit bland & forgettable but the storm sequences were at times pretty spectacular and definitely represented a step up from those in 'Twister'.
Overall it's a solid disaster flick & did more than enough to get a 7/10 from me...

I actually pa*d to see this film!!
A good disaster film is right up my street, love all the classics and was hoping to add this to my list, no such luck!!
Let's start with the positives - the special effects were awesome & the cinema was nearly empty so we nabbed 2 premier seats.
Now for everything else - firstly I didn't realise from the trailer it's all filmed point of view, I found it to be too jumpy at times and moved around from camera to camera too much. Some of the characters were very predictable. The personal stories were very weak. At times what was happening was totally unbelievable (the tornado was blowing round cars, trees etc yet the whole cast managed to run alongside it and not get sucked in!) As for the 2 drunk guys - they have us the last laugh at the end!
Not a total disaster, excuse the pun, but I sure as hell won't be b*ying the DVD!!

Depends what you want in afilm. If you want a disaster film where you can turn your brain off and enjoy the action then 7 out of 10.

Didnt think much of this film to be honest, eye candy while it was on,but on reflection no substance, story arc etc..pale version of Twister.4/10.

haha, nice one, and strangely enough, twister WAS the pale version back in the 90s. how standards have fallen if Twister has become the new bar to measured by for these movies.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

The characters were a little lacklustre but the special effects were great.
