Kingsman: the Golden Circle

An all star cast, Taron Egerton, Colin Firth. Julianne Moore, Mark Strong, Halle Berry. Elton John, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, but seriously wasted, their roles were so small. Elton's cameo had better costumes and more to do then the supporting cast.

So not as good as the first, very cliched, but some parts still enjoyable and entertaining, mostly the fight scenes, which I love, exceptional and brilliantly filmed. Quite a few squirm moments. Lighthearted and fun, but very violent. Lots of very black humour. It felt overlong, not just because my bladder was fit to burst! 7/10

Saw this at Vue Finchley Road, shame it was only three-quarters full after the Sky rep told me it was sold out, that they had 800 applicants, and told me to get in the queue quick when I arrived, to guarantee myself a seat and get my friend to hurry up too, as I said she was on her way!

I saw this in Glasgow tonight and really enjoyed it. The original Kingsman film was very good and also original whereas this second film is absolutely action packed even if not as original. It was a long film but moved along at speed . . .the body count was also very high. By far the worst death was

I do wonder if the inclusion of the American organisation was to make the story appeal more to the US market.

Really enjoyable popcorn movie. Everything is so big, bold and brash its hard not love the Kingsman series. This wasn't as good as the first but I was still hooked from start to end. The long run time didn't drag either. Hope there's more to come..! 8/10

saw this yesterday, pretty weak, not surprised the reviews have been bad, had to check the ticket at the end of the movie that it was in fact a 15certificate, as it felt like a 12a.

only liked the cameo.

Saw this last week at the sky screening. I had re-watched the first film a couple of nights before and it was even better the 2nd time. I went with high expectations for the sequel and although I did enjoy it and it was certainly action packed and fast paced, it did not live up to the first one. Think mainly because the first one was totally unexpected whereas this one you kind of knew what was coming next. Don't think a 3rd fim will follow due to the fact there are only two of them left. Still good fun 7/10

I'm going to eggsagerate and say this was trash.

3.5 eggscellent action scenes but you can set anything to upbeat familiar music and make it eggjoyable.

You could probably watch them in isolation and have the same eggsperience because the plot is inconsequential and exactly the same as the first movie in a different shell. There's a lot of repetition generally including an eggy sex scene which leads me to believe this was aimed at adolescents.

The cast is mostly wasted eggscept bizarrely Elton John although even that is spoiled by having him wink at the camera twice. The whole movie is a wink really, it doesn't exist on it's own terms and commits the movie sin of

throwing away lead characters without giving them anything interesting to do on the way out.

This could have been Kingsman in the USA with timely American bad guys but instead it's one of those sequels that repeats the hits while only adding tired rootin'-tootin' stereotypes. Rather than cracking the formula and becoming a spy franchise in it's own right, it's derivitave of itself and others at the second hurdle.

the origin story of what Kingsman becomes and the American arm eggsplicitly solves the same problem at their end.

They could not top the first.. but fair play for focusing on making it fun packed to watch.
