Re: Weight Watchers
Cycled to the park yesterday with the kids, I guess its about a 4 mile round trip, plus the running round in the park, were just off to cycle to another park in the opposite direction with less hills today! Hoping to keep up the cycling with the kids once they are back at school and try and build up all our stamina, there is a huge park with cycle tracks, paddling pools, play area's etc the otherside of town. Our goal is to cycle there with a picnic in the summer, at the moment I think we'd make it there but maybe no back, kids are so keen on the idea I'd really like to do it.
I haven't done so much exercise in years! It feels great!

Re: Weight Watchers
Just the motivation we need :) Though as enticing as it is, I think I will pass on doing pole dancing. I will be doing a 10km run in an hours time in order to keep my self ready for my 2nd attempt of a marathon on 22nd June in Waleshavingascreen wrote:OK.......is everybody ready with renewed vigor, committment and healthy alternatives after stuffing their faces with chocolate yesterday??
I did a yoga workout last night, have been hulahooping and have booked six zumba/pole fitness sessions. Need to go stock up on healthy food now and i'm all set for a powerwalk tomorrow lunchtime.
Right.....off for a 10 minute trundle on that exercise bike
Well done, in getting straight back into fitness action. Hope everyone has a splendid Easter, though I suppose technically its not quite over but its a glorious day for some outdoor physical activity!

I did have a few delicious hot cross buns and other sweet food too. Easter was all of our reward for the hard work we done here, now we get back into the fitness groove this week, eat healthy and if wanting to lose some fat, drop the total calories a little, then have a little treat on the wedding day :)

Re: Weight Watchers
I wish I could run!! Bad back, bad knees, bad hips and not to mention don't want the black eyes. I think I'll stick to swimming but I'm going to go on the wii fit later and do some boxing and then i'll so some pilates before bed tonight.
oh and i didn't get my easter eggs until today but i won't eat them all at once as i'll be sick. i've got 2 and a bag of buttons.
i'm having a tuna salad shortly though followed by homemade smothie later
and i purchased a box of allbran today to go back to a healthier breakfast!
small steps make it easier to make big changes in the long run i find.

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done everyone you certainly are inspirational I've just returned from 5 days in Holland having eaten far too much, I even took hot cross buns with me as requested by my friend. I've just had a creme egg my first piece of chocolate since ash Wednesday and it was delicious, just been to b*y loads of salad and fruit as I'm back at work in the morning probably having to wear tight trousers again
(uniform after over indulgence not a fashion statement).
I've got a hoola hoop in my garage I too might dig it out and give it a go. I think that I'm a natural pig but don't want to be the shape of one so I'm back on the straight and narrow.
Well done everyone else
