Student loans company used to be really on the ball a few years ago, think that they have also suffered from government cutbacks. My daughter's years 2 and 3 uni loan/acommodation applications were really messed up by them. Took months to sort out, make sure that you keep a note of all the times you contact them, copies of letters etc.

Last thing I got off them was the letter which I had to sign for confirmation, not heard anything from them after that, might call them up :/

Yeah some of my friends had it easy but they could have asked for what they wanted. With a deadline of 31st of may. I am not optimistic about getting and reciveing stuff through the post within the next two weeks.

they're are a wierd set of contradictions. i regualrly send in my forms late in the first term, and get a response within two weeks. So... I've settled for submitting mine in late now each year. Sounds wierd but at least it gets done quicker for me!

Out of curiosity, has anyone on FMUK gone on a 'date' with another FMUK? As in met on FMUK and went on a date after to a free screening? Not that I'm encouraging people to meet up strangers or that this is some dating forum. I was just wondering.... :p
