The young musicians (YCAT finalists) at the Wigmore Hall were great tonight. Really inspiring stuff. I loved the Ligeti piano piece. Alas i couldn't stay for the winners announcement, did anyone stay and find out who won?

Did anyone go to the bookslam? I fancied that but went to the Dave Gorman reading instead. How was it?

When I went to see Pocket Dreams at Udderbelly, it was one of the most disappointing turnouts I've seen for a while. It was maybe 20% full, I felt sorry for the energetic actors (my friend tells me one of them is quite famous and in the Catherine Tate show). I was really wondering why they didn't give more free tickets away to people like the audience club or SFF....
There's been virtually nothing for Cause Celebre at the Old Vic as well and it's finishing next week? Surely it's not playing out to packed houses...?

What's "partied out"? Are they trying to say they are full?

They had 500 free tickets to give away and they have all gone. They aren't full because you can still b*y tickets.

Unfortunately It might be difficult to pass on unwanted tickets as you had to apply one person at a time (no plus one) and you need to take photo id to the ticket booth to be issued with a wristband.

i went to the bookslam last thursday at clapham junction. It was okay. i couldn't focus on listening to a book! Good that they did breaks every 10 mins of a performance. The 16y/o girl from wimbledon, her live concert was top class! my friends and i were all impressed!
