The best performance by far is Lord Farquaad.
He is Nigel Harman (Dennis from Eastenders)

Yes, we went to the matinee and were sitting in row F on the right, just behind the only 2 people in row E.jem&theholograms wrote:Did you guys go to the matinee too? Never usually get to do matinees. There wasn't many people so may have spotted you depending where your seats were, I was in row G which was a teensy bit close but good view, haven't been to the Lyric in ages. The stairs were really effective and was really impressed.

Ah, I was sat behind you! There were 3 or 4 people just behind your seats, I was the one closest to the middle (though is easier to notice people in front of you than people behind you I know). I wasn't p*ying too much attention but if I recognise you again at a screening I'll say hello!Kaybeelon wrote: Yes, we went to the matinee and were sitting in row F on the right, just behind the only 2 people in row E.

It was actually quite frustrating as the 2 children sitting in front of me couldn't see over the adults in front of them so they kept standing up to see the show. Their parents would tell them to sit down, then they would stand up again and for part of the show they were sitting on their mum/dad's lap. Everytime they moved, I had to shift position to be able to see. It is not a theatre designed to make it easy viewing for little people.
I must say that the children were very well behaved during the performance I saw but that was a Saturday matinee. They may be more restless during an evening show.
Yes, please, do! I was so tired and almost late when I got there that I only had a very brief look around whether I saw anyone I knew and did not really register the faces of the people behind me.jem&theholograms wrote:Ah, I was sat behind you!
