opas wrote:, the last line says that you will get the complimentary tickets by sending them your postal address. I guess we should be getting paper ones we can redeem at any Odeon box office (including the West End ones I hope) in the post?
The answer to your question Opas is NO!!

Have finally received my free tickets from Momentum, they are valid until 30th June 2010 and are valid at any Odeon, UCI or printworks cinema in the UK and Rep of Ireland EXCEPT for the following; wait for it, the list is long............................
Camden, Covent Garden, Kensington, Leicester Square, Leicester Square Mezzaine, Marble Arch, Panton Street, Swiss Cottage, Tottenham court road, Wardour Street & West End!!

My goodness aren't Momentum generous after the fiasco that night and considering as most of the people that went to Dorian Gray are based around central London, these tickets are about as useful as a chocolate teapot!! :wall:

It looks like the people who won tickets in the indiemoviesonline competition will be best off as the woman in charge is really fighting our corner. I told her about the cinema vouchers excluding Central London and she thought it was such utter rubbish compensation that she has promised the comp winners something else if we send her our addresses.

What a mess! It should not be allowed for people to treated like that .

I have been to see it this week and having not read the book I didn't really know what to expect or if it was going to be acurate, but it is definately my kind of film. Perhaps a bit slow starting but once you get into it there are quirky funny bits, dark bits and rather a lot of sex. I am quite a fan on Ben Barnes so maybe i'm a bit bias but I will definately be seeing it again!

I got back from the cinema today annoyed, it's apparently been closed for a few days, great, and I saw the tickets, thinking Oh goody, at least I can hit up one that's easy to get to, but of course no London meaning no way to see Fish Tank, so I'm rather miffed at them.

Yes I know they have taken quite a few cinemas out of the equation but 7 are still left:
Greenwich, Holloway, Lee Valley, Muswell Hill, Surrey Quays, Whiteleys, Wimbledon
Could you get to any of them? Or take them on your next staycation, they are valid until next June.

I havn't received any tickets yet :crying:
Preferred cinemas:
Central London and North London as far north as the Hampstead Everyman including Picturehouse Hackney/Notting Hill Gate - but not Wood Green and North Finchley as they are just a bit too far.

Got a second pair of tickets this morning (there were 4 of us after all). Will donate if someone does not get theirs.
