Did not find this scary at all, just lots of gruesome scenes. I must be getting immune, although I have not seen many horror films! Nice to have canadian_turtle to keep me company though, when my friend chickened out. Thought it was a good story and lovely soundtrack, and thought the boy, Martin, was really very good in the role. 8/10

Many screenings across the country on the 14th apply here http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11916

I posted it in comps as it wasn't clear if it was first come first served or not but it might well be.

Hmmm felt like I'd missed the first 30 mins or so as no setting the scene of explaining the story. Not that there was one really. Quite disappointed it was definatley a case of I've seen it all before. Felt like it was a re-hash of several other zombie/vampire flicks with bits of plotline taken from each, it was very bitty and no real purpose to the story. I couldn't understand......
why they kept moving towards new eden when the towns thety passed were perfectly habitable.

Nor could I fathom where the endless suppy of food/petrol was coming from.

Nor did I really get the point of the religious fanantics and why they were killing humans.

And please someone tell me what on earth all the super zombie stuff was about

And finally.....dropping vampire zombies from a helicopter onto a town to eat humans ????
4.5/10

I'd been looking forward to this for quite a few weeks and was well chuffed yesterday to win not one but two competitions to see it. I ended up with 6 tickets! Unfortunately with this site being down for most of the day today I couldn't even offer any out. Mind you I might have been pushed for interest.

I thought it was an all-round formulaic vampire/zombie movie, but was more than made up for by the stunning scenery and fine soundtrack. I did also find it rather dark and depressing though. You kinda knew that with the worsening worldwide situation that was being painted it seemed unlikly that there would be a happy ending with all the bad guys sorted out by the good.

Kelly McGillis??? wtf! She has let herself go since Top Gun! Lol. Never even recognised her at all.

8/10. Ticked all my boxes.

OMG - that was Kelly McGillis?!! Indeed.

Edinburgh was packed tonight for this - surprisingly!
After about three attempts they finally got the film working with sound, although from some of the dialogue tehy maybe shouldn't have bothered.

Some gruesome not much scary stuff. It was possibly funnier than it was meant to be.?

A cross between 28 days later & Zombieland.

Entertaining enough rubbish if you enjoy that sort of thing.

5/10 from me - take it or leave it.

I saw this movie because I love post-apocalyptic movies. The idea of a world with less human beings meddling with it always looks enticing. It is one of great movie that I ever seen...loving it

I thought it was pretty wicked...good scares, nice score, some gorgeous cinematography and an engaging take on a rather tired genre.

It was also refreshing to see a former Hollywood starlet (Kelly McGillis) has aged like a normal human being.

8/10
