I would love that and a big cake if MrGlass isn't watching ;)

Brilliant looking forward to it already o/ I'll have to let you Londoners decide as I don't know anywhere.
If West London, I would suggest Apostrophe, near Portobello Road at Notting Hill Gate - voted runner-up by Time Out readers for having the "Best Cup of Coffee" in London in 2010. And I would say they serve the best hot chocolate too - thick and hot - like on the continent! It is also voted one of the best in London by Time Out. They have their own bakery on site so every thing is freshly baked through out the day.

Where exactly is the Travel lodge, Diane? I hope they aren't calling it London if it's really far away!
There were quite a lot of rooms in Central London in their recent sale. I am staying at the Covent Garden Travelodge in a couple of weeks time for the princely sum of £15 :D

edit - I made a mistake, I have actually pa*d only £10 for the room :D :D

I'm sure I could manage 2 slices if pushed  Apostrophe sounds fab. I have no idea what anyone looks like apart from MrGlass whom I know he runs with his mouth open and attracts wild dogs (his description not mine) so if he's running past I'll have a salad and Valda from her Avatar so I will need a description so I don't go off with the wrong people. I've done it before going to a friend's 40th on my own and went into the wrong hotel I didn't recognise anyone but thought that my friends would follow shortly so I joined this very friendly couple who I was having a lovely chat with about my friend Gill only to see the "bride Gill" appear  I was in the wrong hotel :noo:

It's your DAD. Ring him. OH only got one phone call so far, that's 1 out of 4. There is really no excuse in not ringing your Dad once a year.
