Yep, but it wasn't raining when we arrived. The food was gorgeous, really varied, with salads and desserts as well. They constantly brought the BBQ food to the tables in bowls with rice or couscous, but I didn't want that much rice so just got up now and then to steal some prawn skewers from the grill, LOL. Properly stuffed ourselves, and then they gave us a sweets goody bag upon leaving! Greedy OH asked for two and got them, LOL.

Yeah, they were expecting about 100 people, and I think only 30 people turned up! Serves them right for saying they were overbooked and turning people away! Very poor organising oversight! Don't they know of no-shows!
We were about the last to leave, and there were still so much food left, I think they will need to eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a few days! Nice garden though.

Had a lovely night out tonight, courtesy of a corporate event, at the All Star Lanes in Brick Lane. Had great fun bowling, chatting to friends, drinking and eating.

On the way there, walked through Spitalfields Market and saw an episode of Apprentice being filmed, with Karen Brady sitting watching the proceedings. It looked like the Junior version. They were asking passersby to b*y flowers from a stall.
