Saw this at a (nearly?) full O2 (where the Glee merchandise stands were just taunting me! I'd forgotten that was where the movie was going to be...). I briefly said hi to Beate and OH (sorry if I was interrupting your conversation!) and thought the movie was cute, and quite a lot better than I expected actually as the premise doesn't sound very interesting. It isn't, but the characters are overall likelable and I enjoyed the supporting cast a lot. In particular Dr M and his evil laugh and the main scooter boy (I forgot his name). 7/10

I was at the O2 as well; noticed Beate and Soonforgotten :)
I was a tad upset that it started so late as I had to run between the tube and the O2 to make it on time!

I don't have much to say about the movie, definitely not "the comedy of the summer" as I read in Stylist when I was waiting for it to start!
As Beate said, no chemistry whatsoever between the leads and overall not very funny.

Was there a problem with the screen? The right hand-side part looked way darker than the rest of the screen from where I sat (bottom row, middle). And did anybody notice that lots of the close ups were actually not focused!!!???

I gave it 6.5/10 (only because I gave 6.5 to Morning Glory, and this was almost as bad!)

Just saw this in Glasgow. My friend and I were so glad it was free ! Neither of us would have liked to have pa*d for this film after seeing it. Shame as story could have been better and characters also. 2 big names but little else going for it. 1 or 2 laughs but probably the worst film I've seen Julia Roberts in and also a most unbelievable character. SAD!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Doesn't sound like I missed the film of the year then. That makes me feel a bit better about being stuck at work until freakin 8pm tonight.

Just seen this at Metrocentre and the screening was full. Very disappointed with the film, expected more the story line was lame not to much to say about it, so glad it was a freebie.

Just seen this in Nuneaton. The screening wasn't full. It was ok but thought there would be more story/ comedy to it. Glad I hadn't pa*d to see it.

I echo Celini's sentiments towards the screen - the right hand side was indeed darker than the rest (I was sitting on the left end side of the theatre). The movie was a joke. Cartoonish characters, pathetic writing, cliche laden and just flat out unbelievable in every sense of the word. I'd love to pin all the blame on Tom Hanks for his amateurish direction but both he and Nia "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" Vardalos deserve equal blame for penning quite possibly the worst script of the year.

Lame lame lame! I wonder if "Transmogrifiers 3" was any better...

Well I had high hopes for this but it was just plain boring and the idea of Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts was odd to say the least. And if Ms Roberts had been one of my uni professors I'd ask for my money back. What did she ever teach those poor students?

I was glad to see Valda, prettyxcool and kaybeelon so seeing FMUKers was the highlight of a very weak, silly film.

West London Posse's film started on time ;) I wondered if I was seeing a different film most of the other Whiteley's customers. People were roaring with laughter  One guy behind me ws rocking forward at one stage and laughed in my ear just about 8O . It was harmless enough but no chemistry, not funny, silly story. Man gets a hair cut which was exactly the same as before, and in that time, his room had been Feng Shuied, yeah right, they can come and do mine next. Film should have finished at the restaurant as well 6/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
