Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
It's been a long day, especially with my faux pas this morning, then meetings and a function. Dashed off to Roundhouse to catch Adele tonight. The security procedure and ticket checking is just dreadful, tickets checked 4 times, IDs twice, wristband everytime you go into the auditorium. It was like Fort Knox. And why get people to come around 18:30 when Adele is playing at 21:30???? and then once you're in, you're not allowed to leave the venue!
Adele was great, the best naturally talented singer I've heard this week, but I didn't stay until the end, as her music doesn't really lend to a standing concert atmosphere and my attempts to get a seat were thwarted.
Surprise of the night, Chris O'Dowd and his wife (I believe) joined our table to sit down and munch on the free burgers that the staff gave them. It was one of the biggest burgers I've ever seen (It was only that big for Chris O'dowd!)
6/10 - lower marks for the poor organisation of the place!

Does anybody know much about how suitable the show is for younger children? I'm not asking if it's really PG-friendly...more if they will get a bored and antsy during it.
The guides are saying 6 and above, but I have a Batman mad 4YO who sits through 2 hour films at the cinema with no trouble at all.
I'm just not sure whether to chance it or leave him with the Grandparents.
My 12 year old nephew is going to be over the moon!

I've no idea who it is, my mate chose the winner. I don't recognise the name but that doesn't mean it's not an FMUKer as I don't know that many people\s real names still! LOL
I'm sure if it is someone from here they will let us know when they find their winning message!
