Started me off thinking abotu things we'll need to get (thanks, ahem) and I really miss Woolworths for lots of the little things 
I just don't get how they went under. You could get EVERYTHING in woolies! Wilkinson just doesn't cut it! Where am I supposed to get cheap but not stupidly thin wrapping paper?! Asda is not the same either... Sigh...

But it's the thin stuff that I don't want... I once b*ght this lovely red paper but when i wrapped stuff it became apparent that it was practucally see through and took a whole heap of effort with extra creativity, cellotape and bows to deal with that. Should have b*ght the expensive stuff!!!

A cheat for decent wrapping paper. Only b*y plain red, green, silver or gold etc!
You can b*y it all year round and the price isn't bumped up just because it has a christmas design.
Another idea which I use for the presents for kids and hubby is to allocate a colour scheme i.e. hubby can be blue, daughter is purple and son is silver. All their presents are wrapped in their specific colour and I don't have to worry about adding tags. It also means that they don't have a clue as to what presents are theirs until the day when I reveal the colour scheme.
