Re: Horrible Bosses
Stupidly small screen at Vue Islington which filled up pretty quickly. We arrived at 5 to 6 and there were already people in! We got our favourite seats though. We had kept 2 seats for ejwrank for the longest time, not knowing that she went to the theatre instead, so phunkygal + OH profited from this in the end. I think the ushers did a pretty good job as they seemed to have an eye on the numbers and only sent in as many people as the auditorium held. It was kind of amusing to watch from the top how everyone thinks of themselves first - a couple came in, the female ran towards a higher up seat and made hand gestures to her companion to take the corner seat further down. Then two guys came in, turned 360 degrees to look for seats and while his mate's back was turned, the first guy ran to the second-last seat available, never telling his friend where the last seat was, LOL.
Anyway, film was ok, quite funny, but very crude too and reminded me a bit of THe Hangover, but better. Not hugely memorable though inspite of all the big names in it. I thought Ioan Grufffud as the Wetwork Man was hilarious. Jamie Foxx was equally good. Does Charlie Day always screetch like that? He was really funny though. However, Jennifer Anniston was scary. How exactly did Colin Farrell play against type? He always looks like a druggie. I really liked how the story more or less solved itself, and the Indian guy in the sat nav was hilarious. And so true - they all get given new names so that Westerners can pronounce them!
OH loved it and that's the main aim these days.
7.5/10

Re: Horrible Bosses
there was a pretty hilarious edited-out scene as well with Colin Farell...David wrote:...it looked like only outtakes. What did we miss?

I kept thinking Jason Bateman was Rob Lowe even though I knew he wasn't. They could have be twins! Think Ed Helms could have done well in this film even if it would have be slightly too obvious casting.

One of them reminded me of Mark Whalberg. As for Farrell, I meant that he doesn't normally go around in hideous clothes and a comb over

Am I the only one who found Jenifer Aniston very hot in this movie?
