i didn't find it too dark to be honest, i thought it was good, better than Pirates of the Caribbean at which i had to keep taking my glasses off to try and see what the hell was going on.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
ok sorry, can someone explain to my the relevance of the half blood prince? NOt in terms of his role, i know who he is and what he does (I kinda worked out Rickman was playing a good guy in the very first movie, tbh), but why 'prince'? is he really a prince in the royalty term? My Harry Potter guide doesnt explain it properly.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
Final 'Harry Potter' movie has already earned $25 mil from advance sales
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows–Part 2 has already collected $25 million domestically from advance ticket sales, according to Warner Bros. (Variety first reported the news.) The majority of the sales have reportedly been for midnight screenings, giving Deathly Hallows a legitimate shot at beating the $30 million midnight record set last year by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The final Harry Potter film will also be aiming its wand at some other box-office milestones, such as the largest opening day (currently The Twilight Saga: New Moon with $72.7 million) and the biggest opening weekend (The Dark Knight with $158.4 million).
Deathly Hallows opens early Friday morning with midnight showings. The 3-D movie also debuts this week in every major foreign market except China (where it premieres Aug. 4), meaning the worldwide-opening record of $394 million (set by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) could also be in danger.

100 critic reviews at Rottentomatoes now and is scoring 96%. just 96 positive reviews and just 4 negative reviews. Wow, that is a very conclusive rating. It may drop as more critic reviews come in but unlike to dip lower than 88% I reckon. Lowest critic rated Harry Potter film was Order of the Pheonix at 78% which is still a great rating. Highest was Azkhaban at 91%. So the final film looks set to be highest rated of all of them...unless there is a sudden surge of haters!

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
personally i saw Phoenix as the best one by a long chalk (great wizard battle YEY FANTASTIC TO WATCH and harry having balls for the first time
), and Afghanistan as the worst by a long chalk (a rubbish nobrain middle-east hating title, and hermiones got a time machine but she never thinks to use it to solve every voldermort problem they get , FACEPALM MULTIPUS PLOTTUS
), so theres room for difference in opinion, true, however I am convinced this last one is going to be great.....i saw the trailer yesterday and it looked AMAZING.
