Really enjoyed the ballet yesterday. It was my first time seeing ballet and was very impressed with the whole show including the live music. An amazing treat.

Wasn't it fab! (this is in response to Skyzapper's post). We put our bottles of water in our coat pockets so got away with it, so glad you had a fab night.

I love ballet (watching not doing) and I'm really envious of your amazing experience, it must have been wonderful.kkhand wrote:Really enjoyed the ballet yesterday. It was my first time seeing ballet and was very impressed with the whole show including the live music. An amazing treat.

No I dont want to upstage the real Batman! The only time I've don a costume was when I ran that Great North Run as Asthma ManDiane65 wrote:How fab was that last night. The staging was brilliant if anyone is a comic book fan you are in for a brilliant night, how they projected the comic book on the screen it was beautifully merged with the stage show and you couldn't tell which was real and what was an illusion. The circus was a show in itself then the Batmobile was awesome I was mesmorised watching the children in the audience in their Batman outfits totally engrossed in the spectacle of it all. Gotham City was brilliant. I don't want to give too much away as it will spoil it for you.TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:So who went to the Batman Live show in Manchester, last night? I know Diane has. Anyone else? Dying to know what the show is like, as I pa*d £90 for 2 tickets to see this in September at the O2
We all had a brilliant night last night and it was a good job a printed out name change slips for us all as you did need ID and thanks so much to TheyCallMeMrGlass, raj101, Funthing29 and Ibaax you made a lot of us very happy.
TheyCallMeMrGlass I trust that you will be wearing a Batman suit and your friend goes as Robin/Catwoman you will so love it.
This sounds like a great family spectacle, glad you enjoyed it!
I have one question, I b*ght the most expensive seats which is closer to the stage but situated on the side. The seats that faced front on were sold out. But is sitting on the side really a good idea, I wonder? Would it have been better to b*y cheaper tickets which are further back but front on?

I was hoping someone would post a review on Batman Live, have tickets for the O2 but was unsure what it would be like or if it was really something the kids would enjoy. Really looking forward to it now.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I am surprised no ones posted a review too. Well I have seen it, it is very enjoyable to watch and they are are very entertaining, but it's all very chirpy, happy chappy clappy kind of show and the act is just essentially a juggling act. You won't be bored and it's going to be the best juggling show you will see, but it is just a juggling show.... I am going to be mean and give it a 6/10

is it worth going to see?
i noticed its the second time its been offered in free theatre.
cant go tonight but was wandering for if it gets offered againI saw a preview at West End Live and while impressive juggling I wasn't nearly interesting enough to justify a whole show imho.
