Re: Nights out
Went to a function at Chiswick Park yesterday, it would have been really nice in a Marquee with a band playing and various activites, but the weather really didn't help. Got absolutely drenched when leaving
Let's hope we don't get this weather for the rest of the summer

Re: Nights out
My gf has a birthday next month, can you guys please recommend any nice place to go for a late lunch or dinner, or even evening drinks? We usually go to the same place every year, but we want to do sth different this time. We live in Sutton, so a place with relatively good transport link would be preferable - maybe Victoria, Wimbledon, I don't know...
Or even a place outside London, but around 1hr by train, maybe we can stay at a hotel for a night.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Unfortunately I cant recommend anywhere as such, but if you visit sites like http://www.toptable.co.uk or http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/ you are able to do a restaurant finder and it will give you reviews etc. I used toptable once for arranging a big meal for my brothers 30th. Found some great restaurants to choose from up town. You can also get some good deals too.
Hope it helps..

Things are looking up next week. Funny getting an invite so late at night, do they not go to sleep?
