where the gorilla jumped off the bridge onto the helicoptor. The only way that animal could have reached the helicoptor is by following a parabolic path - once launched its effectively unpowered - and that should have taken it through the spinning blades. In order for it to have followed the path it did, nothing less than a giant catapult would have sufficed to give it such momentum. It didn't even have a run up.
I know but it still looked awesome!

Well we enjoyed the film. I thought the special effects were great and the story was gripping though we both thought the ending was abrupt. There was no problem getting in after all the worry and it was lovely to get a free drink but a shame that no FMUKer won the trip to San Francisco. The guy who did win didn't seem all that excited at winning which we couldn't understand.

Great to see Beate, Bevvy and canadian_turtle. We had to behave because canadian_turtle was sitting in front of us and we didn't want to get a bad report -- "morons sitting behind us on their phones and kicking our seats..."

"and eating their popcorn really loudly". :giggle:
I actually stopped my popcorn-munching after a while because I couldn't figure out whether it might be a bit loud or not. Thanks to ejwrank for the extra bag - all hail to Americans only liking salted popcorn I guess.
