I have a feeling it will be 2D. Thanks to some very nice person on here I've managed to get tickets for Cardiff tomorrow so very excited! Can't believe people actually try to sell them! I would never have dreamt of that!

awwww took some of my nieces and nephews to this and they had a ball (spesh as they fidgetted, went to toilet several times, got me covered in chocolate, talked and i'm sure i saw the odd finger up nose!!!) bless them though they did ask if it was over when the cloud film finished. i didn't think it was as laugh out loud as some disney films but it's a long long time since i've been to a cartoon-y kids film like this. shame it wasn't 3-D but a nice family film all the same and i think the noisy chatter, laughter and small kids shouting made the screening all the more "ahhhhh-some" 7/10

Really enjoyed this film. It was funny and sweet and there were some cute characters. I liked the dog! I think adults as well as children will enjoy this. The length seemed just about right and I also liked the mini cartoon at the start.

Youre lucky it was just a finger! I took our grandson to a free Woolworths screening of Night at the Museum 2 the other day. We were enjoying the film, he was eating a bag of Haribo Starmix when he turned to me and said "I've got a sweet stuck up my nose". The little so and so had gone and shoved a Gummi Bear up there! Luckily, I managed to remove it without too much trouble or his Mum would have been none too pleased.
Aren't 6 year old boys wonderfully revolting!

Absolutely loved this. Granted, I'm never disappointed by Pixar films but this one is certainly up there with Wall-E competing for my favourite yet.

The attention to detail was, as is par for Pixar, sublime. Not only in the animation (check out the spray and light refractions in the wide shot of the waterfall...) but also in the characters (the old man's stubble growing throughout the film and the Alpha Dog's malfunctioning translator were a couple of my favourite details).

As other people have commented, the length seemed just about perfect for a family film, and it was a shame that we didn't get to see it in 3D, but I still wouldn't hesitate in giving Up 10/10.

Brilliant film (thanks to lovesitx) for the tickets,

loved the film, this is the first pixar film we have been to, and i would certainly go see more.

It was a fantasic family film, brought a tear to my eye. The characterisation between the old man and the young boy reminded me of the relationship between shrek and donkey. The atmosphere was great, the kids interaction ie: laughter, gasps, ahhhs and oohhs , really made the film.

Brilliant 10/10

BettyBoop

I took the 2 little Boop's and 3 of their friends with us to see this one.....And I must say what very very well behaved children they all were, including the youngest Boop who has an enormous amount of fire in his bellly. I was very very impressed, was looking forward to this film all week and certainly didnt disapoint.

My children also thought that the cloud film was the end of the screening and were really disapointed with a big confused "that wasnt very long!"

Thankfully it wasnt and I walked out of Gateshead Odean being by far the coolest Mam ever! And the 3 little friends of the little Boop's wishing their Mam's were as cool as me! lol xxx You can't win them all (crimson wing!!) but when you do hit the jackpot they trully appreciate it!

Thought the film was entertaining and the little childrens laughter around the cinema was very heart warming. 7.5/10

Thanks to The Sparrow for the txs for swansea.
Really enjoyed this film. The little cloud film was lovely as a starter. Pixar films do look good.

My grand daughter laughed, giggled and stuffed herself with sweets (- b*ght from supermarket, trying to keep costs down), she loved it. I had a bit of wet eye problem at the beginning with the story of how the old man got to be in his situation. But I cry easily!!

You could hear all the children oooooing and arring - brilliant. 10/10
