I did enjoy this film and the acting was very good, but I thought the story line was a bit week. This is not a film I would want to watch more than once.

The real Alice Ward (played in the film by Melissa Leo) died yesterday aged 79.

Watched this also on 12 hour + flight as wasn't many other options other than Knomeo and Juliet, pleasantly suprised. Great acting by two main characters and family of hicks. Found myself really wishing for a win and almost shouting at the screen with heart racing- (would have too if not afraid of waking up the other passengers) aka Rocky 4 stylie...

A heartwarming documovie based on a true story 8/10

I've recorded this to watch with my wife tonight. We were in the US when this premiered (seems like yesterday) and I've been wanting to see it since then.
