Well this is bizarre and very unpleasant. Not sure I like this side of film reviewing.

He's the director and one of the writers of the film but looks like he opened a twitter account purely to tweet that message. 8O

Supposedly the director. Though oddly it's his only tweet. So either it's not him or he actually signed up to twitter to tweet that. I'd hate to see what message he'd send to someone who completely trashed his film, some of mine was actually positive.

What a sad case. Looked at your review without reading it in detail, so as not to spoil the film and it seemed fairly balanced and even handed.

Maybe we should all post our twitter details on here when we review the film in the coming weeks.

Another reviewer got a nasty comment on her review from the director. He then left another comment today saying he was sorry and that he'd been drunk at the time. You can see both messages here http://iheartthetalkies.com/2011/08/24/ ... ce-to-die/

I on the other hand have yet to receive an apology. Though he has deleted the tweet.
