Frothy, moderately enjoyable. Could have been a lot worse.

Saw this yesterday at WIQ. I didn't see No Strings Attached so I can't compare both films, but I thought this one was very funny for a rom-com, especially during the first half. 8.5/10

I'm sorry I missed all FMUKers apart from prettyxcool. :(

Cheesy and predictable, and sometimes quite funny I guess, I liked the first half more than the heavy stuff towards the end. It slags off cliched movies and then it does the same thing, with the old "she's the one, go get her" stuff.. The soundtrack, JT's singing and those flash mob scenes were mostly vomit-inducing to me, but I did chuckle at two cameos early on: Hiro from Heroes on the plane, asking if the pilot was a "hero", and also Emma Stone at the very beginning.. (when Kunis goes to the airport to pick up Timberlake, anyone notice the name on the sign she first holds up? It's O.Penderghast, Emma Stone's character from Easy A). Patricia Clarkson and Richard Jenkins were reliably good but Woody Harrelson steals the movie.. 6/10

I was with the WIQ massive hogging the back row for this. Nice to see everyone and sorry there where people there who I could have met, ah well next time.

I quite liked this film. I'm a fan of JT's singing and prefer the cropped hair look so in this he wasn't doing much as a romantic lead. Mila Kunis on the other hand is gorgeous, and a pretty good comedienne. Good chemstry between the pair of them. I could have done without the flash mobs TWICE and the awful songs, but hey that's what you get in these films. 6/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
