I am seeing Batman Live tomorrow morning. Really look forward to it and I know the show is geared towards the kids but I am big kid anyway. Before anyone asks, this isnt a freebie, I pa*d for our tickets months in advance. I know there was the possibility of it being a sky summer preview but for this in particular, I wanted best seats anyway. I picked the early show because I can still go to play cricket in the afternoon :)

I know Diane has seen it in manchester but has anyone else been to see this at the O2, this week? How about you Knight N?

Saw this last week at the O2, was hoping there would be free tickets like they had at the other UK venues but none for the O2 showed up. But I managed to get myself some box seat tickets for the show and before you ask no there was no free food or drinks.

Anyway the show itself was I think an ok at best, only because I think its more geared towards kids. But I do think it was very well put together and also the way the show brings the characters together I think was good.

Mr G: I'm also seeing it at the O2 tomorrow but in the evening. I can't believe it will be the second time we're both at the same venue and we miss each other.

However, like you we've also pa*d for the tickets because my wife b*ght these as a birthday present for me. She's therefore, splashed out on Gotham City Seats and the 'big kid' in me is very excited :D

Despite some of the reviews a friend of mine saw it in Manchester and absolutely loved it. He didn't want to give anything away but said being a Batman fan it was definitely something I would like hence I going into it with an open mind. I think Raj101 has seen it and enjoyed it to.

Have a great time Mr G (and anyone else that's seeing the show over the weekend). I look forward to your review(s) and posting my own afterwards. o/

I saw it on the opening night at the 02 and I have mixed feelings about it. The story and acting is absolute pants but it is visually entertaining. I liked the props, wire work, acrobatics and giant LED screen. Don't go in expecting a coherent Batman story, it is more a lot of jumbled ideas and characters.

The seats also affect the viewing experience as the stage is so huge so can have a restricted view.

I would say it is more for kids than adults or Batman fans.

We had perfect seats for Batman last Monday row R (which is half way up and half way down in level 1), block 103 (corner block). We had a perfect view of everything, not restricted in any way.

I think that some of gotham seats won't let you to enjoy the WHOLE picture, as they are too low and some of them are on the side.... but you may feel more involved in the show?

In our show Batman and Catwoman experienced some technical difficulties at some point in the first half, so we had an extra break and show finished 20 min later... That was a bit strange as I thought they rehearsed it so many times by then!

Apart from that - nice visual effects, and we've enjoyed watching the screen, it added value to the show!

I agree that the show is more for kids, especially the ones who has watched all the movies and played quite a few Batman games (like my child).

I had some problems while collecting the tickets, which affected me a bit on the day.... but it all worked out at the end!
