It was like at the Despicable Me fiasco, they offered me one complimentary ticket, and I wrote back to say we were a family of four and we were all disappointed! So they sent me 4 complimentary tickets. No harm in asking! :giggle:

Glad everyone is getting their vouchers.

I got an email back to say that the management of Cineworld ILFORD have assured them that full system checks will be carried out in the future, hopefully to minimize the risk of this occurring again!

Ha ha, despite making clear which cinema I meant I just got the following email:
I have spoken with the Manager of O2 Cineworld who advised that there were some projection issues with that particular performance and I apologise for this. On this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill, I would like to offer you two complimentary passes for you to see another film.
Result! o/

Has anyone actually received the cinema vouchers yet? Are they for 3D films?

I think the guy from Cineworld has lost the plot now. He just sent me another email calling me Ms Wimbleton, apologising for leaving old promo stock in the machines (?) and offering me two complimentary passes as compensation. They get complaints about the funniest things, LOL. Do you think if I reply with my address again he will notice? :giggle:

Nah, apparently they had a Pizza Express Cardiff promotion printed on the tickets that had expired already which is "disgusting customer service" (Ms Wimbleton's words).

Oh I see -- so an expired promotion on the back of ticket (which would not have been expected at all) is comparable to a film shown out of focus. Interesting what these places see as important.
