I loved it again so much the second time around! Was sitting third row again (was all they told me that was left in the stalls, that and the back row. Turned out not to be the case though!) but all the way to one side which I was a bit disappointed about. But once again they turned out to be amazing seats with lots of close-up action from the actors and no restricted view from the stage whatsoever \o/

Went to the stagedoor afterwards (still bummed I didn't go on Tuesday!) and saw the girl that was Sherrie on Tuesday (the understudy) and part of the ensemble today. She signed my programme, asking for my name and everything, and said no one else would come out because they had another show. I checked my watch and it was 8.10pm at this time and the next show would be at 8.30! So yes, very tight. I would still love to see the actors though Oliver <3) so maybe I'll have a look after a movie screening or so in the next few weeks.

Wasn't sitting on the glittery side of the stalls today, so at least I am not still picking that from my hair XD

Saw a_person, funthing and very briefly cliveas, valda and jean :D

Just back from Rock of Ages, we got the middle of row M in the stalls which is the front row of the back section so nobody directly in front of you and OH had full use of his (long) legs afterwards.

Went with two friends of our own generation and we all really enjoyed the music, singing and dancing and all the stage effects which were used. We all emerged feeling very upbeat.

Lovely to meet a_person and say hi to Valda and funthing29 and then canadian_turtle even though she was a bit taken aback to be accosted on the street. :P

I really enjoyed this show but I am a big fan of musicals. We had fantastic seats, row F in the stalls on the aisle in the middle. It is silly, tongue in cheek fun with plenty of laughs. Some parts were really cheesy and I couldn't help laughing (not in a good way). It is also quite risque for a musical - definitely not for kids! I recognised almost all the songs and I am definitely not an 80s baby. :D Ward, JLC and the narrator were great and very entertaining. I don't think Sherrie projected her voice well enough though. But the singing was great.

I have pa*d tickets to see this in October and can't wait.

Lovely to see valda, c_t, jeancomp, mcm, cliveas and I had the pleasure of introducing a_person to Sunny Saver.

We were in row C of the Royal Circle this time (I didn't manage to get there to pick up the tickets until after 5). In the circle you do miss out slightly on some of the audience interaction (cast dancing in the aisles early on, glitter etc.) but in fact the view was even better than from row J of the stalls on Wednesday. There is a significant rake, the legroom was a bit better and the action in the box happened right in front of us. You do feel slightly more removed from the action on stage and there were no lighters given out upstairs. All in all though I don't think I would mind very much if given seats for the front of the Royal Circle at that theatre in the future; I don't think there is much in it.

I don't know why they put so many people on the upper levels. There were loads of empty seats in the stalls.

You were so emotional... I was trying to explain to my mother the significance of that moment, but I don't think she got it.

Hey you were two rows in front of my mother and me. You said you were with two other friends, so I guess it wasn't you who kept snogging all through the first half in front of us. At first, the female looked like PXC... but I saw the husband and it wasn't. The couple also arrived late and as soon as they sat down they started kissing and it was at that precise moment that the narrator said 'we need a romantic story' or words to that effect, so I thought they were part of the play at first.

Am not sure I liked the band being called Arsenal, as everytime that word was mentioned, well you can guess who I thought of.

Oh I forgot, my mum and I both enjoyed it.

Lovely to see Funthing two nights in a row, Valda and last but not least, the one, the only [and I thank God there's only one] a_hoodie.
