I must've missed the llama before before as last week I was sitting in row 3!

Celini, you reminded me that I still need to upload my videos from the cast @ BBC Proms in the Park last weekend. I'll have to do that tommorow :D

(Hehe yeah 3 times, not quite as much as We Will Rock You though which I've seen 5 with a 6th coming up next month. Though spread out over about the same amount of years)

I now have the soundtrack (thanks to the turtle!) so can listen to the songs until I see RoA again. :D

I don't want to give the turtle a heartattack but when I went to check out Julianne Hough on imdb who played Ariel in the new Footloose, I discovered she will play Sherrie in a Rock of Ages film that comes out next year, with Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx and some other strange casting choices: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1336608/

Is it going to be a Les Grossman cameo of some sort???

Edit: yes I am little dislexic Stacee+Jaxx=Jaycee for me :tears:

Don't worry Beate I am still here alive and kicking (and spreading the Christmas cheer) ;)

I was aware of this, but it isn't necessarily "Rock of Ages" that I am really enjoying; it's the London cast in particular. I just can't see Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx (this is what he'll look like: http://img.perezhilton.com/wp-content/u ... s__oPt.jpg) nor do any of the rumoured casting choices sound right to me. Drew looks okay, but obviously I'd still prefer Oliver Tompsett. Wasn't aware that that Sherrie is the girl from Footloose, she didn't seem all that great in the Footloose trailer I saw...

The only connection the movie will have to the stage show is that Broadway!Drew will have a part in it (but not as Drew...)

Fabulous show! I got free tickets via SFF - Seats 19 and 20 of Row C in the Royal Circle picked up at 2.30pm yesterday.

Thought i'd see how much those seats cost by specifically requesting the same ones for next Friday's 5.30 show via the Shaftesbury Theatre website.

They came up as 'Premium Seats' at £95 each not including booking fees!!!

Thanks funthing!

"Here’s your chance to win [...] including the opportunity to meet cast members [...]" Don't mind if I do!

The terms and conditions also provide info for another contest, but you need to have a scratch card for it and I haven't figured out yet what it comes with. This is the site: http://www.hi-promotion.co.uk/rockofage ... ntWin.Show. Prizes are:

The prizes are 50 x Pairs of theatre tickets to see Rock of Ages (please note that tickets are for evening performances on Monday to Thursday only, and are subject to availability on your chosen date), 20 x Soundtracks of the original Broadway cast recording, 50 x Signed Justin Lee Collins & Shayne Ward postcards, 20 x Rock of Ages shot glasses, 10 x £25 iTunes vouchers, 5,000 x 2 nights for the priceof 1 at participating IHG hotels.
