I thought it was way too pretentious.

OH thought it was well thought through and executed.

It was also too long for me by about 30 minutes, I'm afraid I got bored.

Interesting to see Glasgow on screen though.

Pretentious, interesting, at times laughable and at times extremely striking and affecting.

I'm still not sure if I enjoyed it or I would recommend it, but it was refreshing to see something different and at worst a brave failure than another off the shelf rom com or derivative boxing movie.

There was much muttering and some sniggering in Manchester, but once drawn in I just about managed to run with it. There were some beautiful moments visually and between the actors, but some people will find some of the situations too ridiculous to b*y into to.

The mood wasn't helped near the end when during a particularly major plot reveal the house lights came on, kind of undermining what the filmmakers were trying to do

The story and mood echoes Never Let Me Go or Children of Men, with it's science fiction plot and real world matter of fact telling of the story.

Overall, I'm glad I saw it, but maybe leave your coat on for fifteen minutes in case you hate it!

There was much muttering and some sniggering in portsmouth too, people left as well, if I knew where other films were in there I would have absconded as this was so depressing. wouldn't call it a film but a docu-drama. lots of confusion and pointless scenes that went nowhere or gave any clue on what they were about. too arthouse

Yes, I was thinking the tone reflected Never Let Me Go too. That was amazing.
